Hometronic provides you with many functions which you can use to tailor this control to your individual requirements. If you wish to make fullest use of the functionality of Hometronic we recommend you read through these instructions in this order: The section entitled THE HOMETRONIC SYSTEM describes how the Hometronic system is organized and how it individually regulates the temperatures of the individual rooms. The section entitled OPERATION describes how you can switch between different operating modes and how you can make basic inputs. [. . . ] Select any switching point of that day, as described for example on Page 25, steps 1 to 5. In the display you will see: COPY MO TO MO TU WE TH FR SA SU -- -- -- -- -- -OK The day whose switching points you are copying is marked with a pair of asterisks (). One after the other select all of the days to which you wish to carry over the switching points, pressing in each case the input button. Under the days to which the switching points are copied, the two hyphens are replaced by the pair of asterisks ( ). Quit the menu by selecting OK and pressing the input button. Setting up time programs &RS\ URRP With this menu item you can copy all of the switching points for one room to another room. Select the room (for example, LIVING) whose switching points you wish to copy to another room. Proceed as described on Page 25, steps 1 to 4. In the display you will see: LIVING COPY TO DINING KITCHEN -------------------SLEEPING . . . 4. Select the room to which you wish to carry over the switching points of the LIVING room and press the input button. All of the switching points of the selected room will be overwritten. The display once more shows a list of the installed room names. 2SHUDWLQJ H[DPSOH WLPH SURJUDPV An example is provided here to show you how you can plan and set up the time programs. 3ODQQLQJ WLPH SURJUDPV Before you start, think about how you wish to regulate the temperature. In a home with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room the planning could take this form: 6OHHSLQJ URRP Mo to Su: always 18 C . LWFKHQ DQG OLYLQJ URRP Mo to Fr: from 6 a. m. 23 C, from 10 p. m. 18 C 6HWWLQJ XS WLPH SURJUDPV The above example shows you how you can make best use of the Hometronic functions. Setting up time programs 6OHHSLQJ URRP 1. Delete the old switching points with DELETE ALL. Create a new switching point with INSERT: MO 06:00 18. 0 C 3. Copy the Monday plan to all of the other weekdays with COPY DAY. Change the two Monday switching points with CHANGE: MO 06:00 MO 22:00 CHANGE. 20. 0 C 16. 0 C 2. Copy the Monday plan to all of the other weekdays. Adapt the entries for Saturday and Sunday by using Change the switching points from 6:00 to 8:00 hours and from 22:00 to 23:00 hours. /LYLQJ URRP Copy the switching points of the kitchen simply by selecting COPY ROOM %DWKURRP 1. Enter the switching points for Monday: MO 06:00 MO 08:00 MO 22:00 23. 0C 20. 0C 18. 0C 3. Copy the Monday plan to all of the other weekdays. Following step 3 on Page 47 select the LCD CONTRAST menu and press the input button. In the display you will see: LCD CONTRAST: 005 2. Use the input button to input a number between 000 and 009 (the higher the value the higher the contrast). [. . . ]
