The verafix-VK is an adjustable lockshield valve for compact radiators with connection centres of 50 mm. It is used on twopipe and one-pipe systems with radiators which have integral valves to regulate and shut off individual radiators. VERAFIX-VK
Function
Individual pre-setting of the Verafix-VK is made with a commercially available 4 mm hexagonal key by turning to the calculated value. The flow rate is adjusted by turning the spindle on the regulating valve. The relationship between the number of turns and the flow rate can be read off the flow diagram. Draining or filling can be carried out using the draining adapter (see accessories). The supply (or return) of the radiator can be shut off by turning the spindle on the Verafix-VK to the closed position with a hexagonal key. Draining, filling or shutting off the radiator with the Verafix-VK causes the pre-setting to be lost. Pre-settable Verafix-VK lockshield valves are supplied set fully open. The one-/two-pipe version is supplied with the bypass set fully closed
