Application
The verafix-VKE is an adjustable lockshield valve for compact radiators with connection centres of 50 mm.  [. . . ] Verafix-VKE inserts have a hexagon socket for shut-off. (Verafix-VK inserts have an additional pentagon nut on top. The hexagon socket for shut-off is accessed by a hole in the middle. )

Function
Individual pre-setting of the Verafix-VKE is made with a commercially available 6 mm Allan key. The flow rate is adjusted by turning the valve insert from the closed position to the calculated value. The relationship between the number of turns and the flow rate can be read off the flow diagram where `open' refers to the fully open position ­ valve insert turned anti-clockwise as far as possible. Pre-setting only needs to be done on one side either supply or return. The supply and return of the radiator can be shut-off by turning the valve inserts fo the Verafix-VKE clockwise to the closed position with a 6 mm Allan key. Shutting-off the radiator with the Verafix-VKE causes the pre-setting to be lost.  [. . . ] Two-pipe system with distribution manifold and Verafix-VKE
