They contain important information for safe use, for installation and for care of the appliance. Please keep these operating instructions for future reference. [. . . ] Turn the tray 90°: due to the connected compartments each mould fills with water (see diagram). Close the opening with the lid provided and put the tray back, placing the top part in the corresponding housing and allowing it to drop in again. When the ice has formed (minimum time approximately 8 hours) knock the tray against a hard surface and wet the outside so that the ice cubes come loose and take them out through the opening. CHILLING CARE: enables hot dishes contained in suitable cookware to be cooled quickly inside the freezer compartment. Use the supplied cookware (this should be stored at room temperature). After placing the food in the cookware container, close it using the lid provided and make sure the seal is airtight. Carefully position the cookware on the rack provided and place it in the FREEZER and STORAGE compartment. There are two operating modes available: - CHILLING CARE 30 - CHILLING CARE 70 CHILLING CARE 30: The function lasts thirty minutes and enables rapid cooling of dishes such as vegetables, desserts, fish salad and meats weighing less than 500 g (meat salads). To select the function, press the MODE button as many times as is necessary to make the CHILLING CARE symbol flash, then press the SELECT button to activate the function. The status of the function is ‘active’ when the corresponding icon on the display flashes. After 30 minutes a buzzer will sound to indicate that the function is complete. To exit this alarm status, press the SELECT button; after doing so the icon will be displayed in a normal manner. cHILLING CARE 70: The function lasts seventy minutes and enables rapid cooling of dishes such as meats weighing more than 500 g (short loin steaks , meatloaf , roast meats). To select the function, press the MODE button as many times as is necessary to make the CHILLING CARE symbol flash, then press and hold the SELECT button for more than 3 seconds to activate the function. The status of the function is ‘active’ when the corresponding icon on the display is lit in a fixed manner. After 70 minutes a buzzer will sound to indicate that the function is complete. To exit this alarm status, press the SELECT button; after doing so the icon will be displayed in a normal manner. Once the CHILLING CARE function has been deactivated, the cookware should be removed from the freezer compartment and the food may either be consumed or placed in the refrigerator compartment for storage purposes. MAX WATER LEVEL MAX WATER LEVEL 20 Maintenance and care Switching the appliance off During cleaning and maintenance it is necessary to disconnect the appliance from the electricity supply: 1. set the FREEZER OPERATION and APPLIANCE ON/ OFF Knob on Off 2.
