Remove the six Phillips PM2. 5x6. 0 screws from the sheet metal. 6. 7. Lift up on the front edge (1) of the top cover. Pull up on the back edge (2) of the top cover to remove from the unit. Reverse this procedure to install the top cover. Component replacement procedures 55 Bluetooth module NOTE: The Bluetooth module spare part kit does not include a Bluetooth module cable. The Bluetooth module cable is available using spare part number 580702-001. Description Bluetooth module Spare part number 537921-001 Before removing the Bluetooth module, follow these steps: 1. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 36). Remove the top cover (see Top cover on page 53 Remove the Bluetooth module and cable: 1. Remove the Phillips 2. 0×4. 0 screw (1) to release the Bluetooth module. Lift the cable tape (2) to release the Bluetooth cable. If you are replacing the Bluetooth cable, disconnect the Bluetooth module cable from the Bluetooth module.
