From Windows Program Manager, select File / Run, and then type (CD-Writer drive letter):\SETUP. EXE and press ENTER. A window appears, asking you to identify the language of your software. NOTE: If you get an error message, see page 37 or page 38 for assistance. Your computer may be having trouble recognizing the CDWriter or the CD. Check English, if it is not already selected; then click on OK. The HP CD-Writer Setup window appears. The HP CD-Writer Setup window asks you to choose between a complete or custom installation. Click on the Complete Installation icon to install all the programs, including the 1-Minute Guide. The system will install the programs as soon as you click on this icon. The programs will be stored in the directory C:\HPCDR. Depending on your configuration, you may be prompted to restart your computer. Remove the Software Installation Disc and store it in a safe place with the Utility Disk. NOTE: If you want to reinstall the CD-Writer software, be sure to remove the original software first. From the File Manager, display the HP SureStore program group.
