LOCATING RING
The locating ring performs two basic functions: · · Provides alignment of the hot runner to the injection molding machine. Prevents resin drool from entering the hot runner manifold pocket.
The locating ring type used for a particular application depends upon: the machine platen locating hole diameter, and backing plate thickness.
