Unapproved modifications can result in serious personal injury or even death. These machines can be dangerous if they are used carelessly or incorrectly, and this can lead to serious accidents and in the worst instance fatal accidents. It is very important that you read through these operating instructions and understand them before using the machine. [. . . ] Return hoses in the system must always be connected to the tool's outlet. Mixing up the connections can cause the tool to work in reverse, which can cause personal injury. Do not connect tools with a closed centre to a hydraulic system with an open centre. This can cause extreme heat in the system, and/or serious personal injury. Keep hydraulic couplings free from dirt. Always switch of the hydraulic power unit's main switch before moving the equipment. Check that the hydraulic hoses are not damaged, or can become damaged during the course of the work. Leakage can lead to the risk of slipping. The saw must not be run without cooling water. A poorly cooled blade can cause segments to come loose from the blade. Check that the wall mountings and rails are well anchored. When the lever is in the middle, marked "0", the master valve is in neutral. When the lever points down, marked with a tortoise symbol, the master valve is in working position. When the level points up, marked with a hare symbol, the master valve is the position for fast feeding or full speed. 6 GB Main flow control valve This valve () is a pressure limiting valve for the main circuit and should be screwed all the way in during cutting. If you want to start the blade slowly (always when wire-cutting) you can screw out the valve before switching on the master valve to working position (tortoise symbol). The rotation speed can then be increased to full speed by screwing in the flow control valve. If you use this feature for any length of time you must therefore compensate by increasing the flow of cooling water. 7 Main pressure control valve The main pressure control valve () is a pressure limiting valve for the main circuit and should be screwed all the way in during cutting. You reduce the pressure with this valve if the power unit is to be used as a power source for other users with lower max pressure. 8 GB Feed pressure control valve This valve (5) regulates the feed pressure (which can be read-off on the feed gauge). 9 Feed control valve This valve (6) is set at the factory and must not be changed. C) If the blade jams, switch the master valve to the un-jam position, the position with the hare symbol, and then reverse the blade with the trolley feed valve.
