TONE CH ENT Push to enter the contnuous tone channel selecton mode. Then push [CH Up] or [CH Down] to select the desred tone frequency/code settng. TALK AROUND Push to turn the Talk Around functon ON or OFF. · The Talk Around functon equalzes the transmt frequency to the receve frequency for transcever-to-transcever communcaton. LONE WORKER Push to turn the Lone Worker functon ON or OFF. · If the Lone Worker functon s turned ON, and no operaton occurs durng the pre-programmed tme perod, the Emergency functon s automatcally turned ON. HIGH/LOW Push to select the transmt output power level temporarly or permanently, dependng on the pre-programmed settngs. · Ask your dealer for the output power level for each selecton. TONE/COLOUR CODE CH SELECT Whle n the analog mode, push to enter the contnuous tone selecton mode. Then push [CH Up] or [CH Down] to select the desred tone frequency/code settng. Whle n the mxed (dgtal and analog) mode, push to enter the contnuous tone selecton mode. Then push [CH Up] or [CH Down] to select the desred tone frequency/code settng. 6 1 PANEL DESCRIPTION POWER OFF EMERGENCY Whle holdng down ths key, turn the power OFF to actvate the Power OFF Emergency functon. Ths functon makes the transcever transmt emergency calls, even though t appears to be powered OFF. 15) HOOK SCAN When the Hook Scan functon s pre-programmed, push ths key to dsable the functon. USER SET MODE Hold down for 1 second to enter the User Set mode. · In the User Set mode, push ths key to select an tem that s enabled by your dealer, and change the value or settng by pushng [CH Up] or [CH Down]. Hold down for 1 second agan to ext the User Set mode. 10Key ENT Push to enable the mcrophone's 10-keypad operaton. · Dependng on the pre-programmed settngs, 10-keypad can be used to select a desred memory channel, ID lst number (dPMR), TX status (BIIS, dPMR) or Short Data Message (dPMR), or enter a desred TX code (5-tone) or ID (dPMR). OPT 1 OUT, OPT 2 OUT, OPT 3 OUT Push to output the control sgnal to the opton connector. · Penalty timer After the transmsson s cut off by the tme-out tmer, transmsson s further nhbted for the pre-programmed penalty tmer perod. If the transcever has a key assgned to TX Code CH Select, the ndcaton can be toggled between the operatng channel number (or name) and TX code channel number (or name). When the TX code channel number (or name) s dsplayed, [CH Up] or [CH Down] selects the TX code channel. USING [TX CODE CH SELECT]: q Push [TX Code CH Select]-- a TX code channel number (or name) appears. e After selectng, push [TX Code CH Select] to set. · Return to the stand-by mode. r Push [Call] to transmt the selected TX code. USING [TX CODE CH UP]/[TX CODE CH DOWN]: If the transcever has a key assgned to TX Code CH Up or TX Code CH Down, the programmed TX code channel can be drectly selected when pushed. 10 2 BASIC OPERATION USING [TX CODE ENTER]: q Push [TX Code Enter] to enter the TX code edt mode. · The dgt to be edted blnks. D TX code edit (5-tone operaton only) If the transcever has a key assgned to TX Code CH Select or TX Code Enter, TX code contents can be edted wthn the allowable dgts. USING [TX CODE CH SELECT]: q Push [TX Code CH Select] to enter the TX code channel selecton mode. · Select the desred channel before enterng the TX code channel selecton mode, f necessary. w Push [TX Code Enter] to select the desred dgt to be edted. y After edtng, push [TX Code Enter] to set. · Return to the stand-by mode. w Hold down [TX Code CH Select] for 1 second to enter the TX code edt mode. · The dgt to be edted blnks. u Push [Call] to transmt. e Push [TX Code CH Select] to select the desred dgt to be edted. u After edtng, push [TX Code CH Select] to set. · Return to the stand-by mode. D DTMF transmission If the transcever has a key assgned to DTMF Autodal, the automatc DTMF transmsson functon s avalable. e Push [DTMF Autodal] to transmt the DTMF code. i Push [Call] to transmt. 11 BASIC OPERATION 2 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 User Set mode The User Set mode can be accessed wth the Power ON functon. The User Set mode allows you to set seldom-changed settngs and you can "customze" the transcever operaton to sut your preferences and operatng style. NOTE: Whle n the User Set mode, [Up], [Down] and [P0] actvate regardless of the assgned key functons.
