Format Purchase preformatted discs or use HotBurn® software to format discs in order to use the drag-and-drop function or delete single files from CD-RW discs. When you insert an unformatted CD-RW disc, HotBurn will prompt you to to format the disc. · To place files on to a formatted CD-RW disc, do not open HotBurn, simply drag files to the disc. · To remove individual files from your formatted CD-RW disc, right-click the file and select Delete. NOTE: It takes about 30 minutes to format a CD-RW disc, depending upon your drive speed. Formatting a CD-RW disc will reduce the volume by about 100 MB.
