The `TIMER' symbol then stops flashing. In order to allow the timer to continue running, press the `S' key again. When the timer is stopped, you can also move back to the time set with the upwards key `' or with the downwards key to zero. When the time has expired, the alarm sound `beep' sounds out for 60 seconds and the display flashes in different colours. A melody cannot be selected in this function. The alarm sound can be interrupted at any time using the rocker-switch contact of the display. If this is not done, the alarm sound can be interrupted when the 60 seconds have expired and the prior timer time appears, ready for a restart, on the display. 8- DISPLAY MODE OF THE TEMPERATURE (in the display mode TEMPERATURE) Press the `S' key to change the temperature unit from °C to °F and vice versa. 9- MELODY SELECTION (in each display mode apart from TIMER) In the time mode, press the upwards `' or downwards `' key to select one of the 8 melodies. The last played melody is then adopted for the wake-up sound. If you do not wish this, go into the AL mode and select the '9th melody' as described here: the simple `BEEP' tone. 10- CARE INSTRUCTIONS - Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight over longer periods. - Avoid blows and shocks of any kind to the device.
