Push the child seat into the vehicle seat and pull the end of the LATCH strap through the belt slot to secure. * The child seat is secure when it cannot be moved front-to-back or side-to-side more than 1 in. If the child seat is not secure, repeat the installation procedure or use a different seating location. Check that there is LESS than 1 in. (2. 5 cm) of movement (front to back or side to side) at the belt path <1 in.
