For use with the SCS 10 and SCS 20 systems Thank you for choosing JBL
For more than 55 years,  JBL has been involved in every aspect of music and film recording and reproduction,  from live performances to the recordings you play in your home,  car or office.  [. . . ] Use the supplied screws to fit the post to the baseplate. Insert the loudspeakerwire through the hole in the baseplate,  and feed it through the post.

Two. Connect the loudspeakerwire to the loudspeaker,  respecting the polarity ("+" and "-",  see your manual of SCS 10 or SCS 20). Place the loudspeaker on the towerstand,  using the locating pins. 

3. Connect the other side of the loudspeakerwire to the amplifier,  respecting polarity.
