To take full advantage of all possibilities, please read these operating instructions very carefully. [. . . ] VCA CHANNEL FADERS: Used to control the level of each channel. MSD900 uses voltage controlled fader technology which means that not the audio signal but only a small DC-voltage runs through the faders. This greatly improves the immunity against cracks in the music due to worn out faders. FADER START switches: used to choose between the external and internal fader starts: Fader switch(es) UP: the fader start will only react on the crossfader (23) of the internal mixer. the external fader start input(s) (31) are not active. Fader switch(es) DOWN: the fader start will not work with the crossfader (23) of the internal mixer. The external fader start input(s) (31) can be used to start/stop the players with mixers ® ® that are compatible with the Pioneer /Synq faderstart system. HEADPHONES output: connect your headphone here for monitoring of the Cue signals CUE PAN knob: used to set the right balance between the cue signals on the headphones output (26). This control works differently depending on the cue system you selected in the setup menu (see chapter SETUP MENU for more information): CUE SYSTEM = BPM/TAP: Turn the CUE PAN knob to the left side to hear the cue signal from the left player. If you turn it to the right, you will hear the cue signal of the right player. In the middle position both cue signals are mixed. CUE SYSTEM = CUE on/off: Turn the CUE PAN knob to the left side to hear the cue signals from both players. You can turn the cue signal from each player on/off using the BPM/CUE If you turn it to the right, you will hear the mixed output signal. In the middle position the cue signals and output signal are mixed. Note that, due to the high output power, you can permanently damage your ears!PITCH DISPLAY: Shows the actual percentage of speed change, selected with the SPEED slider. The small padlock is shown when the pitch lock function (Master Tempo) is active. (see chapter SETUP MENU for more information) Note: for MP3 files it's not possible to show the total remaining time for all tracks on the memory device. RANDOM: is shown when the left player is in random mode. SINGLE: appears when the unit is set to play just one track at a time. When it is not shown, the player plays continuously through all tracks. AUDIO OUTPUT from right player: Output for the audio signal from the right player. [. . . ] Power Supply: Frequency response: THD + noise: S/N Ratio (IHF-A): Player outputs: Mixer output: Tone controls: Headphone: MP3 FORMATS: MPEG1 Layer3 (ISO/IEC11172-3): Bitrates: Bitrate modes: MPEG2 Layer3 (ISO/IEC13818-3): Bitrates: Bitrate modes: MPEG2, 5 Layer3: Bitrates: Bitrate modes: Possible file extensions: Maximum MP3-file size: ID3 tag compatibility: Dimensions: Weight: DC 6V / 1, 5A ~ Special AC/DC adapter should be used!STORING A MASTER CUE POINT: There are 2 ways to set a master cue point: Press the IN button (19) during normal playback to set the new cue point ("CUE on the fly").
