[. . . ] Reproduction or publication of the content in any manner, without express permission of the publisher, is prohibited. Dispose of the unit and used batteries in an environment friendly manner according to your country regulations. Thank you for buying this JB Systems product. To take full advantage of all possibilities, please read these operating instructions very carefully. [. . . ] The external fader start input(s) (32) can be used to start/stop the players with mixers that are compatible with the Pioneer®/Synq® faderstart system. HEADPHONES output: connect your headphone here for monitoring of the Cue signals 28. CUE PAN knob: used to set the right balance between the cue signals on the headphones output (27). This control works differently depending on the cue system you selected in the setup menu (see chapter SETUP MENU for more information): CUE SYSTEM = BPM/TAP: Turn the CUE PAN knob to the left side to hear the cue signal from the left player. If you turn it to the right, you will hear the cue signal of the right player. In the middle position both cue signals are mixed. CUE SYSTEM = CUE on/off: Turn the CUE PAN knob to the left side to hear the cue signals from both players. You can turn the cue signal from each player on/off using the BPM/CUE button (5). If you turn it to the right, you will hear the mixed output signal. In the middle position the cue signals and output signal are mixed. Note that, due to the high output power, you can permanently damage your ears!USB-B slot: The USB900 has two USB-slots (2 slot is located on the front (15), named "USB-A"). You can connect any USB-based mass storage device like USB-sticks and small, portable hard disks. Even some portable phones with built-in MP3 function can be connected however this doesn't work always. (to be tested by the user) See "Source Select" button n°16 description for more information on how to select the desired memory device. PS: although the USB slots can deliver the 5Vdc needed for portable hard disks, we recommend using a hard disk with separate power supply input. This will result in a more stable setup. AUDIO OUTPUT from right player: Output for the audio signal from the right player. Use the supplied cinch/cinch cables to connect these outputs to the CD/line input of an external mixing unit. AUDIO OUTPUT from left player or mixer: Output depends on the MIXER MODE you selected in the setup menu (see chapter SETUP MENU for more information): MIXER MODE = Ext -Tone: output for the audio signal from the left player. Use the supplied cinch/cinch cables to connect these outputs to the CD/line input of an external mixing unit. MIXER MODE = Ext +Tone: same as "Ext Tone" but now the tone controls can be used. [. . . ] RECALLING "HOT CUE POINTS/LOOPS" FROM PERMANENT MEMORY: In the SETUP menu you can determine how you want the cue points to be loaded. DIFFERENT MEMORIES: Before we talk about using the memory, we have to know the difference between "track memory" and "permanent memory": Track Memory: This is the memory where the USB900 stores a set of up to four cue points and/or loops for one track. You can set up a "track memory" for every single track on the memory device. Example: your memory device contains 800 tracks for every track you can store up to 4 cue points and/or loops. [. . . ]
