[. . . ] Replace any items you removed from the dashboard. Insert the two removal tools supplied with the unit into the grooves in the housing until they click into place. Pull the levers to remove the unit from the dashboard. Press the power button (1) to turn the unit on. [. . . ] Press EQ (12) to step through the following equalizer options: Flat, Jazz, Rock, Pop, Classical and Vocal. Press BAND (13) to change between three FM bands and two AM bands. Press CHANNEL << (14a) or CHANNEL >> (14b) momentarily, and the unit will automatically tune to the next strong station. Press CHANNEL << or CHANNEL >> for more than three seconds to enter manual tuning mode. When "MANUAL" appears on the display, press CHANNEL << or CHANNEL >> to move the radio frequency up or down one step. To automatically select six strong stations and store them in the current band, select a band (if needed) and press AS/PS (16) for more than three seconds. The six strongest stations are stored as presets, replacing any preset stations already stored in that band. The unit will pause for five seconds at each preset station. Press AS/PS again to stop scanning when the desired station is reached. The unit will play each station for five seconds. While in Sirius mode, navigate the three options in the user-preset channel group by momentarily pressing BAND/ENTER (18). Press SHF (27) during disc play to play all tracks on a CD in random, shuffled order. Press SCN (28) during disc play to play the first 10 seconds of each track on the current disc. Press SCN again to end the scan and play the selected track. Use the program function to select up to 32 tracks to play in any order; select a track number for each spot in the playing sequence. Note: A disc must be playing in order to access the program function. Program Tracks: Press MEM (29a) for several seconds to enter program mode. "PGM" will flash on the display , then "P-01" will appear. Press to select the track desired for that spot in the playing sequence. When the desired track is accessed, press MEM to confirm. Play Programmed Tracks: Once all desired tracks have been programmed into the playing sequence, press and hold PGM (29b) for several seconds to play the CD in the programmed order. to stop programmed play , press and hold PGM again.
