Manual abstract: user guide JUNO JKU 6425

Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] Before placing your new refrigerator/freezer into operation please read these operating instructions carefully. They contain important information for safe use, for installation and for care of the appliance. Please keep these operating instructions for future reference. Pass them on to possible new owners of the appliance. [. . . ] This makes it is more difficult to change the temperature setting accidentally (child protection). Turn in the direction of "1": Refrigeration on, the compressor starts and then runs automatically. Position "4" means: Lowest interior temperature (coldest setting) The following effects are of significance in respect of the interior temperature: Ambient temperature; Quantity and temperature of the food stored; Frequency with which the door is opened and how long it is left open. The following temperature settings can therefore only be considered as recommendations that may well need to be adapted to suit your particular situation. 0 Turn the temperature regulator to the desired setting with the aid of a coin. The compressor starts and then runs automatically. Wait until the freezer compartment has reached a temperature of 18 °C, or the red warning light has gone out, before storing frozen food. The green pilot light is illuminated when the appliance is switched on and mains power is present. The temperature can be lower in other areas of the freezer due to temperature layering, differences in loading and the tolerance on the display. The warning system comprises of an optical warning light (red) and an acoustic warning tone. The red warning light and the warning tone signal an alarm if the appliance door is left open too long; if the temperature in the freezer is too warm; if there is a malfunction in the cooling system. "Open Door" warning The red warning light illuminates and the warning tone sounds if the door is left open for more than 80 seconds. ⷠYou can temporarily switch off the warning tone when the door is open by pressing the oval switch on the control panel. If the door remains open, the warning tone sounds again after approximately 80 seconds. ⷠIf more time is required to put frozen food into the appliance, or to sort the food out, the warning tone can be switched off by pulling out the oval switch. The oval switch is automatically pushed back into its normal position when the door is closed. Temperature Warning The red warning light illuminates and the warning tone sounds if the temperature in the freezer is warmer than 12°C. An increase in the temperature in the freezer may be caused by frequent or extended opening of the door; storing large quantities of warm food; a high ambient temperature; a malfunction in the cooling system. 0 Switch off the warning tone by pressing the fast freeze button. The yellow fast freeze light illuminates. The red warning light remains illuminated until the required temperature has been reached again. 0 After the storage temperature has been reached, press the fast freeze button again to switch off the fast freeze function. [. . . ] The appliance is touching the wall or other objects. If necessary, carefully bend the component out of the way. The compressor does not start immediately after changing the temperature setting. The compressor starts after a period of time. [. . . ]
