A governor spring and 8 mm bearing boss aid durability. 6-Speed Transmission · Bushings in 2nd-4th gears on the output shaft and 5th and 6th gear on the transmission input shaft add durability. · The ends of the shift forks are hard-chrome finished for durability. Clutch · Thick base at the clutch housing fingers for increased durability. The right hand engine cover provides a separate clutch cover for quick servicing without removing the water pump. · The clutch lever and perch are the same as the KX125 / KX250. Keihin PWK28 Carburetor · The crescent shaped slide enables the needle to sit closer to the intake ports for quick throttle response. · Large bores in the front and back of the carburetor and a smooth shape boost flow for more mid-range and top-end power.

Made of cast steel for strength, and use a 10mm pivot for durability.
