When activated, this function will check for a received NOAA 1050 Hz tone. When the tone is received, the weather alert tone will sound. WEATHER ALERT ON/ OFF 1 Enter Menu mode and access Menu 13B. WEATHER ALERT SCAN The memory channel only for the weather alert is scanned. 1 Enter Menu mode and access Menu 13C. 2 Set the Weather Alert to “On” or “Off”. • • When activated, the “ ” icon appears on the display.
