[. . . ] QUICK START GUIDE GETTING STARTED WITH YOUR ESPRESSO COFFEE MAKER Before using your espresso coffee maker for the first time, carefully read the instructions supplied including the SAFETY warnings. Fill the tank with water up to the MAX level. [. . . ] Add the thermocream filter making sure that the locating pips in the filter fit into the slots on the filter holder. Place one measure of espresso coffee into the filter holder and press down lightly using the presser (add 2 measures for 2 cups). Fit the filter holder to the machine by lifting into its housing and turning anti clockwise 40-45 degrees as far as possible without over tightening. Allow the filter to warm up before commencing. Wait until the heating unit indicator light goes off. To stop the flow, press the switch again. NEVER REMOVE THE FILTER HOLDER WHILE THE COFFEE SWITCH IS ON, AND ALWAYS WAIT A FEW MINUTES BEFORE REMOVING THE FILTER HOLDER To froth milk to make a Cappucino. The steam indicator light and the heating unit indicator light will glow. Wait until the heating unit indicator light goes off indicating that the unit is ready to make Cappuccino. WARNING If small spurts of steam or water come out of the filter holder while waiting for the steam, this is normal. Place a cup under the Maxi Cappuccino device. Turn the steam dispensing knob anti-clockwise, at first a little water will come out immediately followed by a strong jet of steam. [. . . ] After use, switch off all the buttons and unplug.
