[. . . ] Un CD-R ou CD-RW est plus susceptible d'tre endommag par des tempratures leves et un haut degr d`humidit qu'un CD musical, et dans certains cas, il peut devenir inutilisable s'il est laiss l'intrieur d'un vhicule pendant de longues priodes. Si l'on ne se sert pas de l'appareil pendant longtemps, en sortir les disques et les ranger dans leur tui. Ne pas les laisser traner sans leur tui, ne pas les empiler les uns sur les autres ni les appuyer contre un mur, etc. Si l'on fixe un adaptateur sur un disque compact de 8 cm et qu'on l'insre dans l'appareil, l'adaptateur risque de se dtacher du disque et d'endommager l'appareil. Evite tocar com os dedos o lado gravado (o lado onde no h ttulos escritos) quando estiver segurando um CD. A pelcula reflectora de um CD-R ou de um CD-RW mais frgil que a de um CD de msica normal, e poder desprender-se se for raspada. As impresses digitais num CD-R ou num CD-RW tambm so mais susceptveis de provocar saltos quando o disco reproduzido. Por estas razes, manuseie os discos com muito cuidado. So apresentadas instrues de manuseamento detalhadas na embalagem do CD-R ou do CD-RW: leia cuidadosamente esta informao antes de usar o disco. No guarde os discos em lugar onde eles fiquem expostos luz direta do sol (por exemplo nos assentos e em cima do painel de instrumentos do carro) ou sujeitos a temperaturas elevadas. No guarde CDs em reas expostas luz solar directa (tais como no assento de um carro ou no painel de instrumentos) ou noutros locais quentes. Um CD-R ou um CD-RW mais sensvel a estragos por temperaturas altas e humidade do que um CD de msica, e em alguns casos, poder tornar-se inutilizvel se for deixado no carro durante longos perodos. Se voc no for usar o aparelho por longo tempo, retire os discos do aparelho e coloque-os em seus estojos. No os deixe fora dos estojos, empilhados ou encostados numa parede, etc. Se voc colocar um adaptador num CD de 8 cm (3 polegadas) e coloc-lo no aparelho, o adaptador pode se soltar do disco, causando danos ao aparelho.
