SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS When using the machine, always observe the enclosed safety instructions as well as the additional safety instructions. Always use fuel that fulfils the following specifications: unleaded petrol, octane content at least 85 Never smoke near the machine or the fuel. Never fill the tank further than to the top of the fuel filter. A & B) Be sure that no load is connected. Pull gently on the start cord (12) until you feel resistance. Wait at least 1 minute before operating the reset switch (4). Do not perform any cleaning or maintaining activities while the motor is running. A) The oil must be changed after the first 20 operating hours, and then after every 100 hours or 6 months. Fill the crankcase with the prescribed amount of oil. A) Always check the oil level before starting the motor. Insert the dipstick into the filling hole for a few seconds before pulling it out again. The oil level should be at a rate between high and low. If the level is below this mark, refill the oil.
