The dynamic IP address is configured by the DHCP server and can be different each time the client connects to the network. Encryption key--An alphanumeric (letters and/or numbers) series that enables data to be encrypted then decrypted so it can be safely shared among members of a network. IP address--A number that identifies each sender or receiver of information that is sent across the Internet. WPA--Wi-Fi Protected Access: a Wi-Fi security standard that provides a high level of wireless network security. It uses data encryption through the Temporal Key Integrity Protocol (TKIP). TKIP scrambles the keys and ensures that the keys haven't been tampered with. User authentication is performed through the Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP), to ensure that only authorized network users can access the network. Synchronizing with Kodak EasyShare software is an easy way to organize and match the pictures on your camera with the pictures on your computer (and vice versa). More than just transferring pictures from your camera to your computer, synchronizing lets you: Copy Favorites from EasyShare software on your computer to your camera* Synchronize picture and album information between the camera and EasyShare software Update the date and time on your camera with the date and time on your computer Synchronize address book information between your camera and EasyShare software * If this option is selected, recently taken pictures and videos on your camera are also transferred to EasyShare software.
