Each time before use, carefully check that the machine is in good order. Examine the workpiece carefully to look for any hidden foreign bodies (such as concealed metal parts). [. . . ] After the machine has been allowed to cool, it can be switched back on again by pressing the reset switch and then the ON/OFF switch . if there is still an overloading problem , check whether: · Very hard wood was being sawn too quickly (feed speed) · There has been a drop in speed / a rise in power consumption · Very moist wood was being sawn (high braking effect) · The underside of the dust cowl must be horizontal and lie flat on the saw table with the saw bade moving freely beneath it. The machine must be set up on a robust table or workbench with a solid working surface. Make sure that the machine and table are supported in a safe manner. If you are working in an enclosed space you must have the saw dust extraction system installed and the vacuum extractor connected and operating (see figure D). The two connections for vacuum dust extraction can be found at the rear of the machine housing and on the dust cowl. If you are not working with a vacuum extractor attached to the dust extraction ports then the dust will collect inside the housing and must be removed after every 30 working minutes (maximum). Mount the guide fence and/or the mitre guide into the guide rails (groove), depending on the type of work you are doing. Only use the machine in a dry environment. A special vacuum suction device must be used for the extraction of dust, otherwise this could lead to an explosion. The voltage must agree with that shown on the machine rating plate (equipment shown as 230 V can also be connected to 220 V). The electrical circuit must be fitted with 16 A protection. The inclination angle of the saw blade can be set to any angle between 0° and 45°. The required angle can be easily determined from the scale. Warning: After every setting of the angle always fix/secure the saw blade in place ­ turn the safety lock thumb knob to the right. Attach the guide fence at both ends by tightening the screws and use the scale with the magnifying glass to determine the exact readings in order to achieve an absolutely straight cut (see Fig. Use the mitre guide only when fully installed (with the guide rails). Slide the mitre guide from the front into the groove in the saw table. By loosening the clamping screw, the angle can be set to ± 60°, see Figs. Always switch on the table saw before bringing the material into contact with the blade. Then feed the workpiece evenly from the front towards the back of the machine.
