Since the paper tray sends a paper size signal to the printer controller, using a wrong size paper will cause jamming or the image positioned incorrectly on the page. If you need to configure the trays for any other paper size, then follow this procedure. Otherwise, go ahead to the next section. 1 2 Open the tray that you wish to change paper size. Note: If you are setting up the tray for 11"x17" (ledger), the left paper guide is stored in a slot near the front section of the tray. Set up the tray paper size tabs on the rear of the paper tray.
