Setting Up the PCL Driver Image on two pages is printed on a sheet of paper of double size (combination)

Contents of two sheets of output size can be collected and printed on one sheet of paper of twice the size as set in [Output size].

Click the Special Functions tab. Select the "Combination" check box. Click the [, ] next to the "Combination" check box and select "2 in 1" or "2 Repeat" from the list displayed.
If you select "2 in 1", image on continuous 2 pages is collected and printed on one sheet of paper. If you select "2 Repeat", two sheets of the same pages are printed on a sheet of paper.

Adjusting the printing position (image shift)

You can adjust the printing position on the output paper.

Click the Special Functions tab. Select the "Image Shift" check box. Set the up/down/left/right shift on the front and back sides or shift of paper interval in the unit of 0. 1mm.

Note
The "Switch Setup" function does not work. Only a setup from Printer Driver side is possible. By selecting the "Back Side Auto Setup" check box, the setting becomes the same as that on the front side.

Specifying the Overlay Tab Settings
Printing Different Original Documents Together (Overlay) An original document can be printed on top of overlay data that was created separately. This function is handy for fax cover letters and form letters. You must pre-register forms to be printed. For details, refer to "Editing Overlay" on page 6-31.

Create the print data using any application. From the "File" menu, select "Print". Select the KONICA MINOLTA 500/420 PCL printer, and then click the [Preferences]. Select "Print Overlay".

When the 1st page only is printed in overlay, turn on the [1st Page Only] check box.

Select the file name, and then click the [OK]. The Print dialog box appears again.
Click the [OK]. Overlay printing is performed.

To use overlay, the data for using overlay must be pre-registered. To register a overlay, select the "Create Overlay" check box, and then specify the document that you want to register.
