Make sure ink, glue, Tipp-Ex© and other similar substances are completely dry before the transmission. F Always remove staples and paper-clips from the document before sending it. Such objects may cause serious damage to the fax machine. Minoltafax 1300 49 SENDING Photocopy or Carrying Film Original documents that meet the following characteristics must be photocopied or placed in a carrying film before they are sent: · · · · · paper sizes less than 148 mm width or less than 148 mm length paper that is too light folded, torn, wrinkled damp rough or curled paper chemically treated and pressure sensitive paper metallic or textile originals · the paper thickness must be between 0. 05 mm and 0. 15 mm. Make sure the documents are well placed and aligned before starting the transmission. If you want to send more than 20 sheets, place the additional sheets in the document feeder during the transmission. If the paper is curled or the sheets stick to each other, several pages may be drawn in together. This can lead to document jams and faulty transmissions. In this case, place the sheets individually in the document feeder to ensure a correct feeding of the documents. Especially smooth documents may slip in the document feeder. This may cause the output document to be "stretched". Copy the document on normal paper first to prevent this.
