You can forward fax transmissions automatically or manually (polling). Setting of automatic fax forwarding How to automatically forward fax transmissions from your fax machine to another fax machine. 1 2 Press the [MENU] key seven times. Confirm your choice by pressing the [SET] key. Press the [MENU] key until FORWARD : AUTO is displayed. Confirm your choice by pressing the [SET] key. Dial the directory number of the fax machine to which you want to forward your fax transmissions: 7: SET FORWARD ? FORWARD : AUTO 3 1235 123456 manually via one-touch key via directory 08 Sep. '99 15:32 4 Press the [SET] key. The automatic fax forwarding setting is confirmed by the sound of a beep. The standard display appears. Busy or faulty transmission?Should the fax machine to which the transmission is being forwarded emit a busy tone, dialling is repeated in accordance with the current settings, see page 4-25. If the machine still does not emit an idle tone, transmission is stopped. Should a transmission error occur during fax forwarding, the transmission will be repeated after a period of approx.
