Default Gateway If your local network is attached to other networks, you can specify the address of your default gateway. This gateway will be selected whenever messages need to be sent to another network. The gateway address must follow the format XXX. XXX. XXX. XXX, where each XXX is a number from 0 to 255. CAUTION: If you select an invalid default gateway or the default gateway becomes unavailable, the Minolta Network device may not be able to communicate with non-local networks. TCP/IP Chapter 4 4-22 Minolta Network Utility for TCP/IP Connection Timeout Checking This option allows you to enable connection timeout checking. SET Community Name This field sets the community name required to "SET" information on the Minolta Network device. Trap Community Name Enter the community name which will be used when traps are sent from the Minolta Network device. This setting allows trap utilities to only accept traps from devices with appropriate community names. Enabling/Disabling Protocols To enable or disable protocols on the Minolta Network device, select the Protocols file tab.
