Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] The peripheral speed on the machine is less than the max. Under no circumstances may abrasive wheels be used with a speed that is higher than that specified by the manufacturer in rev/min. Persons working with an angle grinder must always wear some kind of eye protection (safety goggles)! [. . . ] Always lead cables away towards the back of the machine. Double insulation Our equipment is designed in accordance with European regulations (EN standards) for the utmost safety of the user. Machines with double insulation always carry the symbol. The machines are interference-suppressed in accordance with EN 55014. Initial operation Before the first operation check that the mains voltage corresponds to that given on the machine nameplate. Instructions: how to avoid overloading the motor In normal use a slight warming of the machine housing can be felt, should however the housing become hot, this means that the motor is being overworked (danger of motor burning). By letting the motor run in idling position (no contact with workpiece) the motor can be quickly cooled down and then further used. 1 Switching the machine on and off The machine is started by sliding the switch ring (1) in the direction of the arrow. the toggle lever (2) will then automatically engage in the foremost slide position. Pushing on the tilted front edge (3) of the lever (2) disengages the lever and causes the switch ring (1) to rotate back into its original position automatically. 2 When grinding, the best results are achieved if you work at a setting angle of approx. 3 Disassembly/Assembly of the protection cover If the protection cover (4) has to be removed, proceed as follows: Unscrew the two screws (5) and remove the counterflange (6). The protection cover (4), annular ring (7) and limit stop washer (8) can now be lifted off. the pro-tection cover (4) is assembled in the opposite order. Cutting and grinding may only be done with the pro-tection cover on!Adjusting the protection cover Depending upon the use, the protection cover can be swung back to the stop cams (9). [. . . ] The guarantee will be rendered void if the device is used improperly, mistreated or opened up by unauthorised repair personnel. Parts which are subject to wear are not covered by the guarantee. The guarantee may only be enforced when defects are reported without undue delay (including shipping damage). [. . . ]
