Running the boat in strong winds, high waves, floodways or strong currents can lead to unforseen accidents and injury. Do NOT run the boat in these conditions under any circumstances. When not using the model, always switch off the receiver and transmitter. Also, disconnect and remove batteries from the model and the transmitter as batteries may overheat or leak causing damage. This can lead to accidents and is dangerous. Always attach and close hatch when running, or damage from flooding may result. Do not store this model in a high-temperature/humidity area or in direct sunlight. Only use genuine Kyosho parts and do not modify the model. Always disconnect Ni-Cd battery connectors when not in use. Always switch Receiver switch on Hull OFF before switching Transmitter OFF. Wipe water off hull then remove Ni-Cd battery, Cabin and Hatch and allow the inside of the hull to dry. Leaving water sitting inside the hull can cause damage, lead to loss of control and is dangerous. *After 10 times running, remove Shaft then apply Grease (purchase separately). Refer to the diagram below when reconnecting after disassembly. Should not require any set-up (adjustment) initially. Keep the throttle trigger on the transmitter in neutral, move the throttle trim to its middle position, then push the set-up button once. Move the throttle trigger to its forward most position, then push the set-up button once. Move the throttle trigger to its backward most position (the same applies for boats), then push the set-up button once.
