When no more sugar comes out of the receptacle, it means that it is empty. Caution: never touch the centre receptacle right after use, as it might reach very high a temperature during use. Wait until the appliance has totally cooled down. Caution: caramelised sugar will build up in the receptacle during use. This is perfectly normal and does not result from any defect of the appliance.
