 [. . . ] Turn on the mains switch (rocker switch with integrated green lamp).  [. . . ] Turn the turning knob TANK to select the required set temperature (ambient to 70Â°C) of the paraffin tank. There are two turning knobs on the control panel. The set values will be maintained,  even if the instrument is switched off (RUN/STOP or mains switch),  disconnected from mains or in the event of a power failure,  provided the turning knob adjustment remains unchanged. Push the MODE button to change from actual paraffin tank temperature to actual hot plate temperature.  â· Make sure that the power supply conditions in the laboratory correspond to the power rating indicated on the name plate of the instrument before connecting it to mains.  â· The surface of the hot plate can be very hot during operation.
