[. . . ] Press and then use / to select one of the encrypted service options: Save/ Not Save. Scan Mode Press and then use / to select one of the update mode options: Append/ Replace. Start Scan Press ENTER to start scan. Sort Channels -Use / to select the Sort Channel item and then press ENTER to confirm it Name Upward Press ENTER to go up in the channel list by name. Name Downward Press ENTER to go down in the channel list by name. Encrypt Press ENTER to sort the channel list by encrypting. EPG 1. Press the DVD/DVB setup button on the remote control to bring up the main menu on the screen and use the EPG menu. Press the ENTER to confirm your selection and there will be a EPG menu on the screen as shown below. This function shows you the detailed information of the channel, that can predict the time of the program playing. You can book the channel by pressing ENTER, the operation of it is the same as Book setting. TELETEXT Operation TTX Press this button to enter theTeletext signal. Press it again the background of teletext will become transparent and press it once more to exit teletext mode and return to normal TV viewing. RED/ GREEN/ YELLOW/ BLUE Press these buttons to access directly to the corresponding color pages displayed at the lower parts of the teletext screen. PAGE SELECTION Press UP and Down buttons to select the preceding or following page. You can also enter the page number (three digital) directly using the number buttons to select the page, and if you press a wrong number during input, you must complete the three digital number and re-enter the correct page number. Press Right and Left buttons to select the sub page of one page. 22 DVD Operation Basic operation 1. Turn ON and OFF the DVD function - Turn on the LCD TV and then press the source button repeatedly to select DVD mode. 2. Inserting a disc - Insert the Disc into the Disc slot (Data side of the disc has to face towards the front of the unit), the player will load the disc automatically. There will be an on screen indication "CLOSE" then "READ". After loading the disc content, it will switch to play mode automatically. If the disc is already placed inside, the disc will be read automatically. NOTE: - For some discs, after loading the content of the disc, you need to press or select it from the disc menu to start. - Please make sure when inserting the Disc, the Data side of the disc should be facing you, When inserting the Disc incorrectly, you may damage the DVD mechanism. 3. Play the DVD - The disc menu will display the content you are able to select. When playing the disc, you may use the to toggle between Play and Pause mode. [. . . ] Try another channel the problem may be with the broadcast. Are the audio cables installed properly. The remote control does not work - Check to see if there any objects between the product and remote control Causing obstruction. - Are the batteries installed with correct polarity(+ to +, - to -). - Correct remote operating mode set: TV, VCR etc. ?
