Attaching /Removing Accessories · Select a suitable accessory (i-a, f-h) as per the details in the chapter , , Appliance description and accessories" for the proposed cleaning task. · Attach the accessory to the front of the connecting nozzle y, such that the locking button u engages in the recess on the accessory. · To release it, press the locking button u down and pull the accessory off. · To use the angle nozzle f or the round brush g, the narrow-jet nozzle h must first be attached. · Attach the angle nozzle f or round brush g, up to the marking on the narrow-jet nozzle h. · If using the multi-purpose nozzle o, place the textile overlay a on the multi-purpose nozzle o. Filling with Water Warning: Before refilling with water: · Allow the appliance to cool down, to avoid being scalded. · Remove the plug from the power socket, to avoid the risk of an electric shock. -4- Note: The appliance is fitted with a safety mechanism which prevents the lid being opened q should there still be steam in the boiler t. · Remove the plug from the wall socket. · Press the steam switch w until the steam in the boiler t has been completely released. · Turn the lid q on the boiler t and remove it. · Fill the appliance with a maximum of 320 ml of cold water using the measuring beaker s and funnel d. Excessive pressure can result if filled with too much water. · Replace the lid, q securing it handtight. Cleaning with Steam Warning: ALWAYS hold the device upright during use ­ never tilt the appliance to an angle greater than about 45 degrees (in any direction).
