When the actual time matches the selected preset alarm time, the buzzer will automatically sound for one hour1 and 59 minutes and 1 then shut off. The alarm can be temporarily turned off manually by pressing the SNOOZE button; the alarm will turn back on automatically nine minutes later. To shut off the alarm, press the ALARM/RESET button 1 once and the alarm time will be reset for the next day. Slide the ALARM switch 2 to the OFF position to turn off the alarm and not set it for the next day. To cancel sleep time before it counts down to "00" and turn the radio off, press the SNOOZE button.
