[. . . ] Worn batteries or battery packs should not be left in the game. Do not short-circuit terminals from batteries or battery. Remove the batteries if you are not going to use the game for a long period of time. When the sound becomes faint or the game does not respond, think about replacing the batteries. [. . . ] Ensure your TV is switched off during the connection. Connection to the Scart outlet Plug the scart converter into the scart socket on the back of your TV. Then plug the 3 way colour coded cable to the corresponding socket on the converter. Connection to the RCA outlet Plug the 3 way cable (RCA) into the three sockets on the front or rear of your TV. Turn the unit on by pressing the "POWER" button (see picture on the left) and a welcoming screen and music will follow. Using the dancing mat The buttons "START" and "SELECT" are located on the top right and left corners respectively on the mat. "START" is used to start a selected game, while "SELECT" is used to return to the selection menu after a game. Stand in the centre of the mat and use your feet to press the "START", "SELECT" and arrow keys to activate the games on TV. The "RESET" button is located on the right of the "POWER" button and allows you to reset the game at anytime. Note: It is advised to wear socks while playing "Barbie Dance Mat Party" to improve your dance moves. Shoes can damage the components inside the mat. To select a game, follow the on screen menu and use your feet to press the âá on the mat to move the `CD' key. You can also select a difficulty level by pressing âá arrows. There are 6 different levels to choose from. The difficulty levels are represented by feet icons. The number of feet increases with the chosen difficulty level. Press "START" again once you are ready to begin the game. After you press "START", wait for a few seconds and arrows will appear on the screen. The arrows move towards a fixed arrow on the top of the screen frame. Follow the rhythm of the music and when the moving arrows touch a fixed arrow, step on the matching position on the mat. Your score will be displayed on the top of the frame as you dance. At the end of the game, each of your attempts will be evaluated using the following scores: PERFECT, GREAT, GOOD, BAD AND MISS. [. . . ] Do not expose the game to direct sunlight or to any other source of heat. Do not get the game wet and do not lay the mat on a wet floor. Remove the batteries if the product is not going to be used for an extended period of time. This product is covered by our 2-year warranty. [. . . ]
