This command has been maintained for backward compatibility with MC-1. If it is not the MC-12 will respond with a NAK packet and error code DC_INVALID_INPUT. The Host is assumed to be asleep upon power up of the MC12. The Host is assumed to be asleep upon power up of the MC-12.
