In order to allow the proper operation of all safeguards incorporated in this display, observe the following basic rules for its installation, use, and servicing. On Safety Use only the power cord supplied with the unit. In case you use another power cord, make sure that it is certified by the applicable national standards if not being provided by the supplier. If the power cable is faulty in any way, please contact the manufacturer or the nearest authorized repair service provider for a replacement. [. . . ] The lenses of the 3D glasses (polarizing film) are easily scratched. Use a soft and clean cloth when cleaning it. Do not use any chemicals. Cautions for Safety Warning for photosensitivity seizure Some users may experience a seizure or other abnormal symptoms when they are exposed to a flashing light or particular pattern from a video game or movie. If anyone in your family has a history of epilepsy or any kind of seizure, please consult with your doctor before viewing 3D images. If you feel any symptoms listed below when viewing 3D images, please stop viewing and consult with your doctor even if you do not have a medical history. * Symptoms : dizziness, blurred vision or facial tic, involuntary motion, twitching, blackout, confusion, disorientation and wrong decision. To prevent a photosensitivity seizure, please follow the instructions below. 1. Do not view 3D images when you are sleepy, tired, or sick. 2. Do not view 3D images for a long period of time. 3. User must use shielded signal interface cables (D-sub 15 pin cable, DVI-D cable) with ferrite cores to maintain standard compliance for the product. 5 Connecting the Display Before setting up the monitor, ensure that the power to the monitor, the computer system, and other attached devices is turned off. Connecting the stand 1. Place the monitor with its front facing downward on a soft cloth. 2. Assemble the Stand Body into the product in the correct direction as shown in the picture. Make sure you push it until you hear it "click". Hinge Body Stand Body Stand Body 3. Assemble the Stand Base(Front, Rear) into the Stand Body in the correct direction. Stand Base 4. Use a coin on the back of the stand base and turn the screw clockwise to tighten. 5. Once assembled take the monitor up carefully and face the front side. Important This illustration depicts the general model of connection. Your monitor may differ from the items shown in the picture. Do not carry the product upside down holding only the stand base. The product may fall and get damaged or injure your foot. 6 Connecting the Display Disassembling the stand 1. Put a cushion or soft cloth on aflat surface. 2. Place the monitor face Down on the cushion or soft cloth. 3. Remove the Stand Body and Stand Base from product in correct direction as shown in the picture. 4. Use a coin on the back of the Stand Base and turn the screw anticlockwise to loosen. 7 Connecting the Display Before setting up the monitor, ensure that the power to the monitor, the computer system, and other attached devices is turned off. G If you are not using the glasses provided with the monitor, · When you view 3D images with this monitor, it is very important that you use the glasses provided with the monitor. The glasses are designed to compensate optically for the 3D filter attached to the surface of the monitor. If you wear third-party glasses, you may not see 3D images properly on the monitor. · The optimal viewing angle of the monitor is 12° in vertical direction while 80° in horizontal direction; the optimal viewing distance is between 50 cm to 90 cm from the monitor.
