Se si utilizza solo ghiaccio tritato, inoltre possibile che il passaggio del ghiaccio sia coperto da polvere di ghiaccio. In questo caso rimuovere la polvere di ghiaccio accumulatasi. Non introdurre mai lattine di bevande o altri alimenti nel serbatoio del ghiaccio per raffreddarli pi rapidamente. In questo caso si corre infatti il rischio di danneggiare il generatore di ghiaccio automatico. Non utilizzare contenitori di cristallo o vasellame per raccogliere il ghiaccio. Mettere nel bicchiere prima il ghiaccio, poi l'acqua o le altre bevande. Aggiungendo il ghiaccio in un secondo tempo si corre il rischio di spruzzarsi. Evitare di toccare con le mani o con utensili l'erogatore del ghiaccio. Si possono verificare rotture dei componenti e ferite alle mani. Non rimuovere mai il coperchio del generatore di ghiaccio. Di tanto in tanto livellare la superficie in modo che il serbatoio del ghiaccio sia completamente pieno. Il ghiaccio tende ad ammucchiarsi vicino al generatore. In questo caso, rilevando il serbatoio come pieno, il generatore pu interrompere la produzione del ghiaccio stesso. Se viene distribuito del ghiaccio scolorito, evitare di usarlo e contattare il centro di assistenza. Non usare bicchieri troppo stretti o troppo alti.
