IfthereisaDHCPserveronthelocalareanetwork (LAN)viawiredconnection, thisplayerwill automaticallybeallocatedanIPaddress. After makingthephysicalconnection, asmallnumberof homenetworksmayrequiretheplayer'snetwork settingtobeadjusted. Adjustthe[NETWORK] settingasfollow.
IfthereisnoDHCPserveronthenetworkand youwanttosettheIPaddressmanually, select [Static]thenset[IPAddress], [SubnetMask], [Gateway]and[DNSServer]usingW/S/ A/Dandnumericalbuttons. Ifyoumakea mistakewhileenteringanumber, pressCLEAR toclearthehighlightedpart. Select[OK]andpressENTER(b)toapply networksettings. Theplayerwillaskyoutotestthenetwork connection. Select[OK]andpressENTER(b)to completethenetworkconnection. Ifyouselect[Test]andpressENTER(b)at step5above, thenetworkconnectionstatusis displayedonthescreen. Youcanalsotestitonthe[ConnectionStatus] inthe[Setup]menu.
