Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] AUXILIARY TROLLEY MODIFICATION 659207-XX and 6592071-XX For Use With Models J, H and GH NOTE: XX is door height. APPLICATION This modification is available for model J, H and GH operators. For 1/2 HP and lower side mount operators use #48 drive chain. For 3/4 HP and higher side mount operators use #41 drive chain. [. . . ] Install a track spacer in the idler assembly, this keeps the track properly spaced. Slide the slider assembly into the track with the take-up bolt towards the open end. At the open end of track install the idler assembly that is normally the front idler on a trolley operator. Install the chain, use the take-up bolt to adjust the chain tension to allow about 3" sag in the center (remove links if necessary). Install the track and brace appropriately. 1 FIGURE 1 Front Idler Assembly Track Spacer Connect the Shaft From the Front Idler Assembly to the Extension Shaft by Coupling Two 48B12 Sprockets Together With #40 Chain and Masterlink. Extension Shaft INSTALL THE OPERATOR 1. Install the operator using the appropriate installation manual. Remove the 50B12 output sprocket from the operator and install the new 50B35 sprocket on the operator. The 50B12 sprocket will be installed on the extension shaft. INSTALL EXTENSION SHAFT 1. Determine the length of the extension shaft to be used and cut it to this length. Install the 48B14 sprocket provided on the end of the shaft by drilling a 1/4" hole through the sprocket and shaft and pinning with the 1/4" by 1-1/2" roll pin provided. Be sure that the shaft does not extend past the end of the sprocket and that the teeth of the sprocket are at the end of the shaft (Figure 2). Couple the shaft to the front idler assembly by butting the two 14 tooth sprockets together and coupling them with the #40 chain and master link (Figure 1). Install the new bearing assemblies on the extension shaft. [. . . ] Bearing assembly should be mounted as close to the (50B12) sprocket as possible to prevent shaft flex. Refer to owner's manual for reversing limits. Disconnect Bracket 01-12574F © 2005, The Chamberlain Group, Inc. All Rights Reserved Printed in Mexico [. . . ]
