Use a nut driver to secure the 2, 1 inch long hex nuts that came with the module. STEP 8 There is a green wire with a ring terminal coming out of the Surge Protection module, This ring terminal MUST make good contact with the chassis of the gate operator. ® CSW / SL Fire Dep SURGE Key Switch SUPPRESSOR P/N Q411 ­ PATENT PENDING 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8- 9 10 + Strike Open or Push Button Safety Loop Or Photocell Exit Loop + ­ Radio Receiver SAFTEY LOOP EXIT LOOP STRIKE OPEN FIRE DEPT KEY SWITCH PUSH BUTTON RADIO RECEIVER CLASS 2 SUPPLY Remove the control board and unscrew the lower left hex nut under the board. Slip the ring terminal on the screw stud. Make sure ring is in contact with the control box. Re-screw the hex nut and re-attach the control board. ® CSW / SL SURGE SUPPRESSOR P/N Q411 ­ PATENT PENDING SAFTEY LOOP EXIT LOOP STEP 9 Reconnect the accessory wires to the Surge Protector. Match them up with the label on the module.
