P r e s s b u t t o n " C " f o r 2 t o 3 s e c o n d s t o show the CALENDAR SETTING display. Selection of the digits to be adjusted (flashing) is made in the following order by pressing button "C". [. . . ] If the watch is left untouched in the ALARM SETTING display with the digits flashing, it will automatically return to the ALARM mode in 1 to 2 minutes. Engagement/disengagement of the alarm · With each press of button "A" in the ALARM mode, the alarm is engaged and disengaged a ltern a tely. When the alarm is engaged, the alarm mark appears. When it is disengaged, the mark d isappears. · At the designated time, the alarm rings for 20 seconds. T o stop it ma n u a lly, press a n y of the b u t ton s. Alarm test · The alarm can be tested by keeping buttons "A" and "C" pressed at the same time in the CALENDAR or TIME mode. Turning on/off of the hourly time signal · With each press of buttons "A" and "C" in the CALENDAR or TIME mode, the hourly time signal is turned on and off alternately. When the hourly time signal is turned on, the hourly time signal mark appears. When it is turned off, the mark disappears. s HOW TO SET THE ANALOGUE TIME · Before setting the analogue time, be sure to set the digital time. (Refer to "HOW TO SET THE DIGITAL TIM E " . ) Second hand Hour hand Minute hand Crown ALARM CHRONOGRAPH PM Extended pos ition Normal pos ition 1 . Pull out the crown when the second hand is at the 12 o'clock position. Turn the crown to set the hour and minute hands to the desired time. * When setting the minute hand, advance i t 4 t o 5 minutes ahead o f the time and then turn it back to the exact minute. Push the crown back in to the normal position when the second digits count "00" in the digital time display. s HOW TO USE THE STOPWATCH · The stopwatch can measure up to 59 minutes and 59 seconds 99 in 1/100 second in cremen ts. · After 59 minutes and 59 seconds 99, it will start counting again from "00'00"oo" as many times as necessary until it is stopped. C s HOW TO SET THE ALARM C B PM A A B Alarm mark Hourly time signal mark PM Minutes Seconds 1/100 seconds Hour M inutes "PM" mark is displayed in the 12-hour indication. "AM" mark is not displayed. 1 . Press button "B" to show the ALARM mode. Press button "C" to show the ALARM SETTING display. If exposed to a light of more than 500 lux (i. e. , the brightness of a typical office) for approximately 10 minutes, or direct sunlight for 2 minutes, they will glow for hours. · Since LORUS LUMIBRITE watches emit the light they store, the brightness will decrease gradually over time.
