[. . . ] Once the unit locks onto the satellites, it should take less than a minute to find your position the next time it's turned on, provided you haven't moved more than 100 miles from the last location it was used. 70 GPS Auto Search on the GlobalMap Baja Satellite Status Menu. Here's how to put the unit into auto search mode: 1. Press PAGES until you are on the Satellite Status screen. Press MENU| to GPS AUTO SEARCH|ENT| to YES|ENT. British, Irish, Finnish, German, New Zealand, Swedish, Swiss, Taiwan, and Greek grid systems are each the national coordinate system used only in their respective countries. In order to use these grid systems, you must be in the respective country. This unit will pick the matching datum for you when you select the grid.
