MIDI Application Set-Up Examples Cakewalk for Windows (Version 2. 0 & Later) Once the PORTMAN Windows driver is installed, Cakewalk for Windows has to be set up to take advantage of the PORTMAN MIDI interface. After rebooting Windows without the PORTMAN driver installed, check to see if the program still fails in the same way. If it does, contact the manufacturer of your MIDI program.
