To the right is a compass pointing in your direction of travel, the calculated elevation, and speed. The bottom bar displays the current time and date. Accessing the Current Location Screen 1. From the Map screen, tap the direction icon in the upper left-hand corner. Saving Your Current Location to Your Address Book 1. The bottom bar of the List of Directions screen indicates the distance and time to the next segment as well as the total distance computed for the route.
