10 TONE/BAL TREBLE (TONE pressed once): The treble setting may be ramped either up or down in 7 steps. Use the ▲and▼ buttons to adjust the value. BASS (TONE pressed twice): Bass playback may be ramped either up or down in 7 steps. Use the ▲and▼ buttons to adjust the value. BALANCE: The stereo balance may be adjusted either to the right or left in 10 steps. Use the ◄ and ► ◄ ► buttons to adjust the value. 11 LOUDNESS Selection of the Loudness function (aurally compensated volume correction). 12 PLAY/PAUSE/SELECT CD mode: Starts or pauses the playback from a CD.
