[. . . ] CAUTION - To reduce risk of injury, charge only MAKITA type rechargeable batteries. Other types of batteries may burst causing personal injury and damage. Do not expose charger to rain or snow. Use of an attachment not recommended or sold by the battery charger manufacturer may result in a risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons. [. . . ] use Makita refreshing adapter to refresh the battery. CAUTION: A battery cartridge extracted from the charger that has been unplugged with the battery cartridge inserted does not indicate the battery capacity due to its protective function even if the tool is switched on after the battery insertion into the tool. At this time, recharge it for about five seconds before use. NOTE: Please contact Makita Authorized or Factory Service Center if the warning lamp of the battery cartridge does not light up when using or charging. CAUTION: Always be sure that the tool is switched off and the battery cartridge is removed before adjusting or checking function on the tool. Always switch off the tool before insertion or removal of the battery cartridge. â· Do not use force when inserting the battery cartridge. If the cartridge does not slide in easily, it is not being inserted correctly. To remove the battery cartridge, withdraw it from the tool while pressing the buttons on both sides of the cartridge. â· To insert the battery cartridge, align the tongue on the battery cartridge with the groove in the housing and slip it into place. Always insert it all the way until it locks in place with a little click. If not, it may accidentally fall out of the tool, causing injury to you or someone around you. To remove the battery cartridge, withdraw it from the tool while sliding the button on the side of the cartridge. â· To insert the battery cartridge, align the tongue on the battery cartridge with the groove in the housing and slip it into place. Always insert it all the way until it locks in place with a little click. If you can see the red part on the upper side of the button, it is not locked completely. Insert it fully until the red part cannot be seen. If not, it may accidentally fall out of the tool, causing injury to you or someone around you. CAUTION: Before inserting the battery cartridge into the tool, always check to see that the switch trigger actuates properly and returns to the "OFF" position when released. For models BFT120F/BFT121F only CAUTION: Do not look in the light or see the source of light directly. Pull the switch trigger to light up the front lamp. The lamp keeps on lighting while the switch trigger is being pulled. [. . . ] If you need any assistance for more details regarding these accessories, ask your local Makita service center. Place the point of the driver bit in the screw head and apply pressure to the tool. NOTE: Make sure that the driver bit is inserted straight in the screw head, or the screw and/or bit may be damaged.
