Install saw chain properly according to this instruction manual. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. Keep all parts of the body away from the saw chain when the motor is operating. Before you start the saw, make sure the saw chain is not contacting anything. Switch off the chain saw immediately if you notice anything abnormal in operation. When storing saw, use a scabbard (chain cover). Also use safety footwear; snug fitting clothing; protective gloves; and head protection. Before making a cut, remove dirt, stones, loose bark, nails, staples and wire from the tree. Secure the workpiece so that it will not move suddenly during operation.
